The ENT Clinics is a modern clinic dedicated to providing quality care for patients with Ear, Nose and Throat disorders, as well as Head and Neck Cancer, and Skull Base disorders.

Dr Ryan Sommerville, is an Australian trained ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon who has completed extra training in Skull Base Surgery in Northern Italy, and is able to provide care for both adults and children.

Dr Thomas Slaughter completed his training as an ENT Surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Sydney. Dr Slaughter has a special interest in head and neck/ thyroid surgery, paediatrics and rhinology. Dr Slaughter is able to provide care for both children and adults at a number of locations in Brisbane.

Dr Sommerville operates privately at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and Brisbane Private Hospital. He also works publicly at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, usually in head and neck cancer or skull base disease. Dr Sommerville is also accredited to operate and admit patients at most public and private hospitals in Brisbane.

Hospitals Dr Slaughter works at: 

Dr Slaughter operates privately at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, Brisbane Private Hospital and The Wesley Hospital.  Dr Slaughter also operates at the Logan Hospital, where he has an intermediate list to operate on both adults and children.

Dr Sommerville and Dr Slaughter's main rooms are in the Watkins Medical Centre.

Watkins Medical Centre extends it's opening hours for patients whom require a later appointment, please contact our rooms to enquire.

Watkins Medical Centre is located at 225 Wickham Terrace Spring Hill,  with a pharmacy downstairs and is across the road from the windmill.

Our rooms are on the seventh floor of Watkins Medical Centre, on the left as you come out of the lift. 

Recommended travel options:

• Train
  Watkins Medical Centre is easily accessible by train from the Central Train Station or Roma Street Station. This may be the most economical way to travel to our rooms for many people.

• Car
  There is a multi-storey car park behind Watkins Medical Centre located at Wilson Parking 225 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill. 
  
  There is a multi- storey car park available at 28 Astor Terrace, Spring Hill. We have discount vouchers available for this carpark. Please ask our reception for a voucher once you are finished visiting our doctor's.

• Bus
  The free Spring Hill Loop bus stops at our front door, and can be caught from opposite the GPO in Queen Street. 

Northlakes

Dr Sommerville and Dr Slaughter consult at North lakes out of the Attune Hearing Centre each fortnight. The Attune rooms are on the corner of Gregor St West & 1 Winn St, North Lakes.  There is ample free parking available. 

Mt Ommaney

Dr Slaughter also consults at the Attune Hearing & West Side ENT located at 107 Dandenong Road, Mt Ommaney.

Wynnum

 Dr Sommerville also consults at the Attune Hearing Centre located at 155 Bay Terrace, Wynnum. This practice is on the corner of Bay Terrace and Clara Street.
